Do you guys like this background? I like it, I'm just not sure about the words intersecting with the picture. It kinda makes it hard to read, but I don't know how (or if) I can change the width of my posts...

If you're not using the "Minima" template, that might be why your posts extend so far. On the blog dashboard, click layout and under that go to pick new template and choose Minima. That should fix it.
